Belmont community school pupils attended a Crime and Safety Awareness Day on 22nd June 2018

Belmont. 22/6/18.

The PMNW team visited Belmont school in Durham on 22/6/18.

Thanks firstly to John Palmer who organised the day along with Scott McMahon who was the lead teacher on the day.

Thanks also to the three Askham residents who attended. They shared their true-life experiences with pupils. Thanks also to Paul who facilitated the workshop.

Ian and Dave gave the pupils a feel of what prison life is all about with a trip to the cell van.

Larry and Dennis acted out their Street Scene workshop with a little help from various pupils who volunteered to act out different roles.

Ged and his colleagues put on their magistrate court scenario.

Thanks also to Tim who facilitated a workshop around hate crime.

Finally, Ben and Tom discussed Harassment and Relationships.

Linda and Neil helped behind the scenes.

A great day enjoyed by everyone.
