Ex Offender Insight – Workshop

A thought-provoking bespoke presentation delivered by either a serving prisoner, (accompanied by a PMNW member) or an ex prisoner (not accompanied) will give a full and honest account of their lifestyle choices which led to their imprisonment and the effects this has had on themselves, their family and their future. There is no glorifying of crime throughout the presentation. Aimed at 15 – 18 year olds.

The presentation lasts around 1 hour and can be delivered to groups of up to 30. This can be repeated to several groups over the day.  1:1 interventions are also available upon request. During the presentation questions are welcomed from the young people.

We are also able to provide sessions with ex-offenders. Sessions usually begin with a 30 minute presentation about offender / ex-offenders background, brief details about their crime, victim empathy, impact their actions have had upon their lives and their families lives and their future beyond custody.

If you have a specific issue around gangs or any other criminal matter please advise us on contacting so this is included in the workshop.

These sessions complement key stages 3 and 4 of the national curriculum, law, justice and social responsibility, citizenship, PSHE, PSE; even drama and English. Sessions are aimed at helping the youth of this country to reject crime, stay safe, deal with life challenges and pursue a law abiding life and positively contribute to society.
