Cottingham High School-22.03.19
The 22nd March saw the PMMW team’s yearly visit to Cottingham school, Hull.
In what was a different launch to the norm, at the request of the school, Neil presented the ASB workshop to the whole year group.
I would like to thank the following agencies who supported the day.
David and Damian for facilitating their ‘On the road’ workshop.
Sandra along with her team brought their magistrates court setting into the school.
Jenny told her very emotive life story. Always a favourite with both pupils and teachers.
Simon, Larry and Paul facilitated the Prison Life/ cell van workshop.
Humberside Fire and Rescue in the guise of Peter, Heather and Melanie presented a great interactive workshop.
Steve presented his Life Sentence workshop.
Thanks to Jess and Georgina for facilitating their I’m Possible workshop. This is based around mental health stigma in young people.
Emma from Red Cross brought along her ‘resusci Anne’ manikin for the pupils to practice their first aid on. Finally, thanks as ever to Linda for looking after us all throughout the day.
Thanks also to Neil and Ben who worked behind the scenes.
I would finally like to thank Ann Cooper and her team for assisting me in organising the day.
All PMNW staff and agencies who attended the day said what a pleasure it had been.
We all look forward to returning in 2020
