Hessle High school. 15/03/19
The 15th March 2019 saw our annual trip to Hessle High school.
The day opened in front of 200 Year 9 Pupils.
Thanks must go to the lead teacher of the day Mrs Edwards who worked tirelessly organising classrooms and teachers for the day.
i would like to thank the following.
Sandra and her magistrates team who brought their magistrates court to the school to give the pupils a taste of how the court process works.
Neil and Simon put on their prison life workshop which incorporates the cell van. Always a favourite with the pupils. They really do not like the experience of being in a cell.
Ben facilitated our new ASB workshop. This is quickly becoming a firm favourite in all the schools that we show it at.
Thanks to Rev, Mannie and a serving offender from HMP Hatfield. As ever a firm favourite with pupils and teachers alike.
Humberside Fire and Rescue in the guise of Walter and David facilitated their excellent workshop.
Emma brought along her British Red Cross workshop. The main content of which is based around first aid.
Dawn and Alexandra facilitated their Network Rail workshop.
Thanks to Sally and Simon for bringing their Victim Support workshop along.
Steve Gough brought along his emotive Life Sentence workshop.
Jos and Georgina facilitated their I’m Possible workshop.
This is based around mental health stigma in young people.
Finally David facilitated the On The Road workshop.
Thanks to Linda for helping out behind the scenes.
