Hessle High School Crime Day- 31st March 2017
I would like to thank the following.
Lesley and her magistrates team who brought their magistrates court to the school to give the pupils a taste of how the court process works.
Barrie facilitated his CEOP workshop.
Dave and Gary put on their prison life workshop which incorporates the cell van. Always a favourite with the pupils. They really do not like the experience of being in a cell.
Kath and Ollie acted out Street Life along with the pupils. A firm favourite which really gets the pupils engaged with them showing us their acting skills.
Thanks to Graham and the Askham ladies. As ever a firm favourite with pupils and teachers alike.
Humberside Fire and Rescue in the guise of Angie, Heather and Martin facilitated their excellent workshop.
Emma brought along her British Red Cross workshop. The main content of which is based around first aid.
Jackie and the two Emily’s presented their Victim Support workshop.
Last but not least. David and Damian brought along their BUSWISE workshop.
Police Inspector Rob
Cocker attended the day as a VIP guest.
I know that he was very impressed with the work we all do.
He is going to feedback to his superiors with a view to the police service coming on board.
We all look forward to returning to Hessle School in 2018.
